Directed by Custom/Practice‘s Artistic Director Rae Mcken and choreographed by Susan Lawson Reynolds, a choreographer with Tina Turner, Beverley Knight and for Top of the Pops, Romeo & Juliet becomes a world where, in the heat of a Verona summer, street dance battles spill over into brutality.

This is a great production for both first timers to Shakespeare and seasoned audiences.

Romeo and Juliet marks a new collaboration between Custom/Practice and Clare College, Cambridge University, who present the premiere performance of Romeo & Juliet as part of ‘English Day’ on Thursday 21st July – an initiative bringing children from underprivileged London boroughs to Cambridge for performances, talks and workshops. Custom/Practice is thrilled to be part of a campaign committed to widening diverse access to the country’s greatest centre for classical education.
