Alongside our programme of continuing professional development for artists, Custom/Practice are committed to reaching out to younger audiences through activities attached to our productions.

Our educational work is designed by Custom/Practice Artistic Director Rae McKen (PGCE) who has worked as a Youth Arts leader for theatres including Theatre Royal Stratford East, Hackney Empire and Salisbury Playhouse. While we hope that the workshops and post-show discussions we run as part of every project are useful for helping young audiences engage actively with both English and Drama curriculum requirements, the main focus of our educational policy is opening up pathways into professional theatre careers, both on and offstage.

Please email us for details on packages being offered in support of our current production, targetting Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

Sessions are delivered both at venues and in schools.
